Description

The Tokyo Palace, purpose-built for the 1937 International Exposition of Art and Technology in Modern Life, does not have a permanent collection. Its interior is a contrast of concrete and steel, providing a dramatic background for interactive art exhibitions and installations. The bookshop, specializing in art and design, is a highlight, and its culinary, drinks, and leisure offerings – among them, Les Grands Verres, a Mediterranean eatery that places emphasis on sustainability, and the underground nightclub Yoyo – are nothing short of magical.
