This tranquil park at the westernmost point of the Île de la Cité offers visitors a magical view, with majestic chestnut, yew, black walnut and weeping willow trees standing tall over the surrounding migratory birds such as mute swans, pochard and tufted ducks, black-headed gulls, and wagtails. To get to this picturesque spot, located 7m below its current level, you'll need to take the stairs down from the Pont Neuf. But no matter what time of day you visit, the park is always romantic, and particularly so when the sun sets over the river.
