Residential street, with several landmarks

Rue St. Vincent is a street in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, included, in part, in the Old Montmartre neighborhood. Its most famous landmark, the cabaret du Lapin Agile, was a favorite of prominent local figures, like Picasso, Apollinaire, Dorgelès, Mac Orlan, and others.

Other than that, Rue St. Vincent is mainly residential, except its small off-the-beaten-path gem, the St. Vincent garden (Jardin sauvage Saint-Vincent), at 14 Rue Saint-Vincent. The garden is open from April to October, between 1:30pm and 6:30pm. Also on this street, the famous St. Vincent Cemetery, the resting place of Harry Baur, Maurice Utrillo, Marcel Aymé, Henri Dorgelès, Marcel Carné and other local celebrities.
