Description

A picnic on the quai

The Quai de Bourbon was built in between 1614 and 1646, and named for the royal family Bourbon. Named the 'Dock of the Republic' between 1792 and 1814, the quai is one of the favorite places for locals to stroll and to picnic.

The quai has many notable buildings to check out before or after your picnic lunch, as well as many sculptures and noted monuments. Best of all though, it's always loaded with charming Persiennes and the beautiful people from around the world.
