Description

Parc Georges Brassens, a 7.74 hectare park named for the iconic French singer-songwriter and poet who lived nearby, features lush lawns and gardens adorned with roses and medicinal and aromatic plants that surround a large central pond. The sloping hill is also home to a vineyard and an apiary. Additionally, visitors will find the Monfort theatre - recognizable by its conical roof - which offers dance, circus and theatre performances. On weekends, the park is also the site of the Marché Georges Brassens, a market selling books.
