Although the interior of this stunning example of French Gothic architecture is off-limits to visitors since the devastating fire of April 2019, its grand exterior – with its two enduring towers and flying buttresses – has not diminished in appeal and continues to draw countless admirers. Roaming its grounds, one can still feel the strong spirit of the city and recognize the monument's place as its geographic and spiritual heart.
