The Museum of Eroticism (Musee de l'Erotisme) is a seven story museum devoted to a collection of erotic artifacts from all over the world. It was founded in 1997 and is located in the Pigalle district of Paris. Displays range from ancient religious art of India, Japan, Africa to contemporary art.
The Museum of Eroticism (Musee de l'Erotisme) is not just another racy tourist trap. Each of the seven floors of the museum is devoted to a specific topic of eroticism. For example, the 3rd and 4th levels are devoted to temporary exhibits, while the fifth floor features mostly tasteful nudes and tableaux.
