Description

The Hôtel Bouchardon, a magnificent 18th century building, is home to the Musée Maillol, which focuses on the works of esteemed sculptor Aristide Maillol (1861–1944). A number of rooms on the second floor are occupied by Maillol's creations, as well as pieces by Matisse, Gauguin, Kandinsky, Cézanne, and Picasso, all of which were once part of the private collection of Odessa-born Dina Vierny (1919–2009), Maillol's model for 10 years starting at the age of 15. The admission fee includes access to the major temporary exhibitions that take place regularly.
