Description

Located in the southeastern corner of Paris, Bois de Vincennes is a 995 hectare woodland that was once used as a royal hunting ground. After the Revolution, it was taken over by the army and then donated by Napoléon III to the city of Paris in 1860. It is an ideal spot for people to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and also contains various attractions such as the Château de Vincennes, with its extensive fortifications and moat.
