Description

Skip the queue and step inside the restored Notre-Dame Cathedral with a licensed guide. Discover stunning Gothic architecture, medieval sculptures, and the story of the 2019 fire and restoration.

Step inside one of the world's most iconic cathedrals with a licensed guide and reserved access — no waiting in long lines. Rising from the heart of the Île de la Cité — the historic island where Paris itself was born — Notre-Dame Cathedral has stood for over 850 years. This Gothic masterpiece has witnessed some of France's most defining moments: Napoléon Bonaparte was crowned Emperor here in 1804, and Victor Hugo immortalized it in his novel The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, drawing the world's gaze to its soaring towers and sculpted facade. Notre-Dame has just reopened following its breathtaking restoration after the devastating April 2019 fire, which threatened to destroy the centuries-old landmark. Over 340,000 donors from 150 countries contributed to the €700 million restoration — and the result is extraordinary. Your licensed guide will share the gripping story of that night, the race to save irreplaceable medieval artworks, and the remarkable craftsmanship that brought Notre-Dame back. Meet your guide at the Statue of Charlemagne (Statue de Charlemagne et ses leudes) on the Parvis Notre-Dame — the square directly in front of Notre-Dame Cathedral. The statue stands to the left of the main façade and is easy to spot. Your guide will hold an ElysiaGo sign for easy recognition. From there, you'll walk together to the cathedral entrance. With reserved access, your small group skips the standard queue and enters directly. Inside, your guide reveals hidden details most visitors miss — the symbolism of the rose windows, the stories behind the medieval sculptures, the secrets of Gothic architecture, and the moving story of Notre-Dame's restoration. This tour is available as a small group (max 15), semi-private (max 6), or fully private experience — ideal for solo travellers, couples, families, and groups. Note: From July 1st, 2026, an entrance reservation is required for Notre-Dame Cathedral. This reservation is included in your booking.
