Description
This Napoleon virtual reality experience in Paris starts with a scene on Saint Helena in 1817, under a cloudy sky, where Napoleon himself opens the door to his final resting place. With a VR headset on, you then travel through the key moments of his life, from victorious battles and bitter defeats to political triumphs and exile.
The whole thing lasts about an hour. An introductory space prepares you before the immersion, and then you are free to explore, take part and wander through each scene in 360 degrees, with picture and sound surrounding you. The story of the First Empire becomes something you stand inside rather than read about, and it is both captivating and educational.
- An introductory space before the virtual reality part
- Scenes of battles, defeats and exile in 360 degrees
- Questions to Napoleon through immersive conversational AI
- An imperial portrait to take home
The experience is available in English, French, German and Spanish. It is not recommended for children under 8 or for people with heart problems.
